Rubble Bucket

Within the first few seconds of seeing this video, you may have thought you were watching a retro Fruit of the Loom commercial staring Siouxsie & the Banshees or some such silliness… But as soon as the bass drops and the horns kick in, it becomes apparent that we have an interesting, current, and catchy development in the indy music scene.

Out to promote their newest EP, Oversaturated, Rubble Bucket is currently on tour and gracing New York’s stages twice this weekend: Nov 17 at Bowery Ballroom and Nov 18 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The new single was co-written with Ryan Hadlock (Fleet Foxes, Blonde Redhead) and if that weren’t reason enough to check them out, we wanna see what NYLON called “the kind of music that is nearly impossible to pigeonhole”. At very least we are curious to see how this video’s silly spirit might manifest on stage from such a creative, fun and high energy group of musicians.

Tickets are already sold out for Saturday but available here for Sunday. Music View will see you there
