For a band that went from modest You Tube self promotion to Lollapolooza and Jimmy Fallon in only a few years, it’s no surprise that these guys know how to party! (and by party I mean play music). They played with passion and heart at their recent Vancouver show at Venue. Mostly, it just felt like they were present and having fun (a rarity in shoegazer-land these days). They switched around instruments and vibed off each other and the mood was nothing but engaging. The audience was involved and gave back plenty of Hand Claps and Yeah yellings; an overall solid show. I suppose this means they are forgiven for the labour intensive band name… this time…
