Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad

Pardon me? No, you heard that right, they are the Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, and they recently blessed our ears for a show at the Shark Club. (You heard that right also, as the Shark Club downtown has recently reinvented itself as a weird, yet decent show venue…. that is if you can tolerate a bit of a sports crowd at your concerts…)
So who are these guys with the long and complicated name? Quiet frankly they are a bunch of giant hearted good vibes guys, unleashing fun and danceable reggae beats. You need not fear the Guerrilla part of their name, since it is just reference to concert warrioirness; these guys, quite respectably, decided to take matters in to their own hands when they couldn’t get booked for festivals. They have a five year record of infiltrating Bonaroo with sound equipment and a makeshift stage and just joining the festival on their own!
At the Shark Club they whipped up quite the dancefloor immediately (obviously, masters at work). Nobody could argue with anything they gave us, except for a claim that Rochester New York, where they are from, is also known for its high grade marijuana…. a statement that quickly got even the sports fans shouting in rebuttal.
Last time Fortune Club, this time Shark Club, next time Lawn Bowling Club? Where ever they hit up Van next don’t miss it! These are some good vibes, dub times worth having….
