Whistler Music Festival Provides Perfect Tonic Before Pemberton

One week before the box office blow out, Pemberton Music Festival, Whistler held it’s own star studded two day festival. Proving a talented and diverse line up, this festival boasted the likes of Elvis Costello, The Roots, Bedouin Soundclash, Thievery Corporation and Broken Social Scene. Unfortunately, beside its big Pemberton brother, this little gem was overshadowed and did not have much more then 150 people in attendance. However, the talent didn’t seem to notice the sparseness, and each performer put out  an amazing, high energy performance to the empty field. For those of us fortunate to be there, we practically experienced our own custom made concert. Kudos to Whistler Music Festival which will hopefully have another go another year!
